Hockey has a rich history and tradition in India. However Indian hockey has had its ups and downs throughout these years. From being a national sport of India to losing its glory in the 90s and 2000, Indian hockey has seen it all. However, in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics India bagged a bronze medal and revived the old golden days. The team was a mix of experienced and young players. One such player is Vivek Sagar Prasad who is one of the youngest players in the team and has an interesting journey. The war between Ukraine and Russia has left people shattered considering we are in a never-ending pandemic situation and the world has bigger issues to deal with. Ukraine has broken all diplomatic ties with Russia following the invasion by Vladimir Putin on Thursday, February 23rd 2022. Zelensky reported Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian lands and border troops. Air sirens went off in Kyiv and other parts of the country signalling the attack on the nation. Trucker for freedom:

 

The mandatory vaccination policy for truckers entering Canada from the United States is what led to the Truckers protest that has now transformed into a larger anti-COVID restriction drive in general.  The protest started in January, leading objectors to the Canadian capital Ottawa, demonstrating their despair on the streets near the parliament.The major crisis developed for three weeks in a row by the truckers, raising their voice against the COVID-19 mandates and pandemic restrictions. Transpiring into a thriving economy, India is going to be one of the most economically potential nations around the globe over the next decade supported by solid alliances and a democratic setup. Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister of India bragged that India would be experiencing an economic growth of 9.2% on Tuesday which is 30 basis points lower than RBI. The Economic Survey 2022 also stated the same and updated with a growth of 8.5% for the financial year 2023 on January 31st. Legislative turbulence: 

 

With 80 seats out of the 543 in Lok Sabha, 403 in the Assembly, and 31 out of 245 in Rajya Sabha, besides a 100-member Legislative Council, Uttar Pradesh with its over 15 crore voters, carries more weight than any other state in the country's politics. Uttar Pradesh contributes about 15.30% to the Lok Sabha.
